16.7% Increase in Average Price in 2007 over 2006!
Kelowna 115 single family homes sold in December despite the winter we have been having.  The average price is up 8.5% from December 2006 and up 14% for 2007. The inventory for single family homes is at 881 which is down from last month (at 1001).  Our SOLD average price is $497,321 for the month of December compared to 2006 where it was $426,205 (an increase of 16.7% for the year!).  Our average price is up from November which brings the average for 2007 to $476,506. The median price is at $426,205 for the month. In 2007, 2,845 single family homes sold, which represents an increase of 14% over 2006. 1,262 apartments sold in 2007, which represents an increase of 27%. 736 townhouses have sold in 2007 which is an increase of 25% over 2006. In 2007, 5,584 total residential units combined sold, which represents an increase of 16.60% over 2006. There are 2,232 combined residential units currently for sale.
