KELOWNA: 212 single family homes sold in March that is down by 27% from March last year and 20% Year to date. The inventory for single family homes is significantly higher at 1,225 which is up 38 % from March 2007.
We also have 1,038 Apartments and 324 Town homes for sale. The total residential units for sale are at 3,119 up 53% over last year and 413 total of all residential units sold in March 08. Our SOLD average price is $542,236 for the month, up from last March by 22.8% which was $441,680. Our sold prices average at 97% of listing prices, meaning if a property is marketed properly and priced right it will sell. The market changed to a more balanced market in favor to the buyer.
