We sold 323 single family homes in June and 585 total residential units. We are now 18% ahead of last year for numbers of sales YTD and total dollar volume is up 42%. The inventory for single family homes is at 956 which is only 9% higher than last year. Our average price is at $504,912 for the month which is 22% higher than last year. The median price is at $449,000. 111 Apartments sold for $290,000 average price and 68 Townhouses sold at $340,000 average in June. Other markets in Western Canada are reporting an increase in listings but the activity is continuing and prices are stable or rising. As you can see on the following graphs, our market shows no sign of cooling down.
